mike pitler architecture

centrally located in the soma neighborhood, this project is a market-rate, residential development containing 98 studio condos, a large commercial space, 6 underground parking spaces, and a landscaped roof garden with unobstructed panoramic views of san francisco. the studios range in size from 300 to 400 square feet and each contains a full bathroom, compact kitchen, living quarters and a small deck.

inspired by the compact apartments in many of the world's densest cities, these are geared toward single people that rely on their surrounding city as their work and play space and, therefore, have minimal needs for a living space.
